We would like to register the participation of our partner Mauricio Moreira Menezes in the VI National Congress of Agrarian Law, held on August 22nd and 23th in Goiânia.
Mauricio contributed to the panel “The Impact of the Civil Code Reform on Agrarian Companies” and spoke about the financing of the agrarian company via the capital market and its numerous opportunities, with special attention to the investment fund in agro-industrial production chains (FIAGRO), highlighting the significant potential for its expansion as a resource-raising instrument for rural producers and other agents participating in the agribusiness chain.
In this context, Mauricio spoke about the new FIAGRO regulations, which are in the process of being issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as the proposed changes to the Civil Code regarding investment funds.
We thank the Brazilian Union of Agrarians (UBAU) for the invitation and reiterate the importance of events like this for the development of the sector, bringing together professionals from all regions of the country.
