On July 1st, our partner Mauricio Moreira Menezes took part in the “2nd Meeting between the Judiciary, the Financial Market, and Academia: the Portuguese and Brazilian Experience,” held in Portugal and organized by PLMJ.
Alongside Mauricio’s contribution in the panel “Securities Litigation and Class Actions: Paths to Effectiveness”, Thiago do Val (as moderator), Antônio Pedro Garcia de Souza, Rómulo Sampaio e Fredie Didier Jr. were also participants.
The event brought together representatives from the Judiciary, Academia, and the financial sector to discuss fundamental topics that are shaping the future of the capital markets. Minister Luís Roberto Barroso, President of the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil (STF), was also present.
